Two books closely linked to the British Printed Images to 1700 project have recently been published. One is Printed Images in early Modern Britain: Essays in Interpretation, edited by Michael Hunter, published by Ashgate. This comprises papers originally given at two conferences held by the Printed Printed Images to 1700 Project at Birkbeck in 2007 and at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2008.

The other is The Print in Early Modern England: an Historical Oversight, by Malcolm Jones, published by Yale University Press. For articles on individual prints linked to this that have been published on the bpi1700 website, see Print of the Month.
